REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in using industry standard packages such as SPSS, SAS, S Plus, Statistica.
  • Able to use English as a working language.
  • (For Senior Position) Excellent interpersonal skills and an "ability to think on his/her feet".
  • Willing to Live and work in Belgium.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
  • Preferably 1 - 2 years working experience in one of the business sectors such as banking, insurance, telcos, mail order, or supply chain. A minimum of 3 years experience for Senior Positions.

Sr. BIOSTATISTICIAN (2 positions in Texas)

Requirements:
  • Serve as statistical methodology expert/consultant on pharmaceutical clinical trials Phase I thru IV projects of all complexity levels
  • Provide leadership and quality review in producing analysis plans, statistical output, and study reports for highly complex projects (ISS, ISE, CANDA, international projects, and projects with major regulatory impact)
  • Consult with clients on clinical trial design and statistical regulatory issues
    • Interact with regulatory authorities on statistical regulatory issues
    • May coordionate the work of a team of biostatisticians and programmers and/or serve mentor to less experienced staff
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
  1. 3+ years' pharmaceutical Phase I thru IV studies experience MINIMUM
  2. Strong consulting, client relations and communication skills
  3. MS. in Statistics/Biostatistics OR Life Sciences degree and 5+ years experience as a BIOSTATISTICIAN


SAS PHARMACEUTICAL PROGRAMMERS (San Diego (2) and Los Angeles (1), CALIFORNIA) Responsibilities:
  1. Provide statistical programming support for projects:
    • a. Data management planning and programming for analysis files, or NDA databases.
    • b. Planning and programming of appendix listings and patient profiles for statistical reports.
    • c. Working with computerized dictionaries I.E. (WHO)
  2. Participates on project(s) as team programmer:
    • a. Communicates with project manager
    • b. Provide input in planning for design of databases and analysis
    • c. Coordinate and provide work direction, when necessary with other Statistical Programmers
  3. Perform necessary quality control procedures before forwarding output onto other team members. Perform program documentation on all programs, files and variables for accurate historical record.

    MUST HAVE 4 YEAR DEGREE IN SCIENTIFIC DISCIPLINE with related computer course work. 3-5 years SAS software system experience with 1-3 years Clinical trials research programming. Ability to perform effectively in team environment, very good writing skills and above average communication skills.

Research Data Analyst - A345 The Maine Medical Center Research Institute has an immediate opening for a full time, experienced Research Data Analyst. This position manages and analyzes large volumes of data, and performs statistical and study design consultation and teaching.
