    The Federal Reserve Board, located in Washington, D.C. is currently seeking an Analyst to develop and maintain mainframe-based information systems that support monitoring of financial performance and condition of banks and bank holding companies. Work contacts include staff in the Board’s IT Division, as well as supervisory staff at the Board and Reserve Banks. Will include some work with PC-based applications. The analyst will be responsible for maintaining a portfolio of surveillance and monitoring systems. This will include updating existing programs in response to regulatory report modifications and emerging supervisory data needs, as well as maintaining associated documentation used by programming and supervision staff at the Board and Reserve Banks.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum 3 years experience maintaining, debugging, and modifying SAS programs developed by other programmers.
    • Strong communication and organization skills.
    • Working knowledge of bank supervisory data desired.
    • Experience with the Microsoft Windows NT environment using the AT scheduler, and use of Command Language is beneficial.
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
