JOB SCOPE:

Responsible for the overall quality of selection models, statistical models and reporting, as well as development of new methods and systems for longitudinal contact strategies. Analytic computing environment: Oversee computing needs for advanced analytical users. Develop analytical framework to improve customer-centric contact strategies. Work with outside vendors to develop cutting-edge modeling methods, and maintain vendor relations.

Provide leadership and supervision to analytical team staff: Train, supervise and develop staff in areas of experimental design, conducting statistical research, developing models and data analyses via queries to the databases. Assess and manage resources to achieve department objectives.

REQUIREMENTS: The following knowledge, skills, and abilities, listed in priority order, have been identified as those that would most enable an individual to be successful in this position. Applicants will possess a strong combination of all or most of the skills to be competitive in the selection process.
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics or Applied Mathematics, Masters degree preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in statistical modeling, data analysis and experimental design; retail, database and direct marketing experience is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in various statistical methods such as multiple regression, logistic regression, CHAID, decision trees, multivariate statistical methods; survival analysis, failure time and event history methods experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in SAS programming and SQL; experience with Oracle databases is a plus.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

    Clinical SAS Programmer-Contract Position Open-Princeton, NJ

    6 month renewable contract position currently open for Clinical SAS programmer in Princeton, NJ.

    Programmer will work with approximately 6 other team members on a variety of clinical trial studies. They may be working on up to 6 different studies simultaneously. Will be responsible for heavy Macro development as well as output generation including Tables and Listings as well as some Graphs.

    Responsiblities also include:

  • programming with SAS Base, STAT, Macro and Graph.
  • interacting with Statisticians and supporting Stats regularily; also interact occasionally with Clinical and Data Management.
  • working on Phase I-IV studies and NDA submissions.
  • working on a small, fast paced team-but will be located in a very large facility.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of Clinical SAS experience (working on Clinical Trials). They must be very proficient with all aspects of SAS including STAT, Macro, Base and Graph. They must have strong experience developing tables and listings and heavy Macro expeirence. Candidates will need to have experience in Phases I-IV and any previous experience working on NDA submissions is a huge plus. Must be comfortable working on multiple studies simultaneously and must be able to multi-task. Candidates need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    Candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelors degree in either Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or Biostatistics. A Masters Degree in any of these fields is highly preferred.
