The Manager of SAS Programming plans, organizes and manages the activities of a Statistical Programming group of approximately 10 staff members to support clinical projects across multiple therapeutic areas. Major responsibilities for the position include providing the resources and project management as well as quality assurance/control of works by the subordinates. The Manager also develops and oversees the implementation of programming standards and conventions and ensures that all programming functions meet ICH/GCP requirements. In addition, the Manager will contribute in activities related to development, validation and implementation for Allergan Standard Reporting Systems, SAS Macro Utility library and associated tools.

Serving as a project lead programmer, the Senior/Principal SAS Programming Analyst(s) is responsible for providing programming support across multiple clinical projects. Responsibilities include planning, development, maintenance and quality assurance of clinical databases/statistical summaries used in new product development and in domestic and international regulatory submissions. The Programming Analyst(s) will take responsibilities in the development of Allergan programming conventions, workflow and SOP's to streamline the Statistical Programming operation. In addition, the Programming Analyst(s) will participate in developing innovative, hardware independent, globally oriented, cost efficient, user-friendly computer software systems for statistical applications.
