datasets for Columbus area consulting firm.
Support management in the definition, development and execution of statistical quality related initiatives.
Develop, plan and implement creative solutions to business problems. Solutions will involve tracking consumer
data over time using SAS-based programs.
Assist management in the application of statistical models to support direct marketing campaigns.
Consult with internal and external clients regarding the development and use of general statistical modeling
techniques to solve business problems.
Requirements:
Expert knowledge of SAS; extracting, and manipulating massive data sets.
Knowledge of most of the following statistical software, SAS/BASE, SAS/STAT, SAS Enterprise Miner, SAS/QC, SAS/Graph, SQL, and CART.
Thorough knowledge of database concepts including: Data sources, data flow and data layout.
Knowledge of database marketing concepts such as loyalty, retention, attrition, reactivation, demographics,
and psychographics is preferred.
Strong ability to determine appropriate statistical/analytical technique.
Ability to determine priorities and meet critical deadlines.
Education: BS in a quantitative field with 3-4 years of related SAS programming experience; MS preferred.
Experience:
At least 3 years of database management experience.
SAS skills a must.
Knowledge of general statistical models preferred.
Proficiency with SQL is preferred.
2 years project management.
Good communication skills; specifically, writing, presenting, and client meeting skills.
