Job requires a Master degree in Statistics, Operations Research or Economics particular emphasis on applied research or equivalent combination of education and experience (MS + 5 years, PhD + 2 years) from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired; experience with a variety of software packages including SAS; an understanding of modern regression analysis including nonparametric modes; and experience in programming languages/techniques for data management, analysis and simulation.

    Financial Services firm is looking for Database Marketing Analyst/Senior Analyst to join their retail payments group. Responsibilities include:
  • Analysis and reporting of customer information, profitability and risk dynamics of the credit card portfolio
  • Developing mail files for direct marketing efforts
  • Translating raw data into presentable and easily understood findings and reports for our internal clients.
  • Working with internal clients to understand their marketing information needs and support their marketing programs through providing analysis of customer data.
  • Developing mailing lists for direct mail efforts and analyze the results of direct marketing efforts and marketing tests and provide actionable recommendations
  • Providing data mining and analytic support to internal clients (business groups) and fulfill ad hoc data requests
  • Requirements:

  • Experience in quantitative analysis and data mining, such as targeting, segmentation and customer profiling, et., is required.
