    Description

    As a SAS Programmer in the Biostatistics department, your core responsibilities will include generating statistical analyses using SAS, performing quality review of SAS programs, and acting as an integral member of a clinical project team. Key qualifications include: good organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to learn technical and clinical aspects of a clinical trial.

    Responsibilities

  • Write SAS programs to generate statistical analyses (i.e., tables, listings, figures, and inferential statistical output).
  • Perform quality review on SAS programs generated by other SAS programmers and biostatisticians.
  • Follow good programming practices and adequately documenting programs.
  • Interact with members of a clinical project team, including biostatisticians, data managers, clinical research managers, etc.

This position will be responsible for assisting data gathering, data manipulation, and quantitative analytics as well as creating and presenting findings directly to Customers.

    Skills, Competencies and Physical Requirements:

    Candidate must be proficient in collecting, analyzing and presenting findings based on a variety of data sources using Excel, SAS or statistical software and Power Point. Strong presentation skills desired. The Candidate must have superior SAS programming skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the power of analytics!

    Education:

    Minimum requirement MA or BS/BA + equivalent experience in Marketing, Market Research, Consumer Science or Social Science preferred.

    Experience:

    3-5 years of experience in data manipulation, quantitative and statistical marketing analyses and presenting findings using at least SAS, Excel and Power Point. The candidate must be familiar with manipulating data in Relational databases using Oracle, UNIX, SQL Plus, and OLAP tools. Several years experience with CPG in either a Marketing or Retail environment is preferred.

    Salary: $60-90k
