Job Duties:
This position is responsible for the writing, testing and debugging programs for data extraction and clinical
report development based on general specifications or communication with the project customers. Directs
semi-complex projects, organizing project design, testing and communication with the customer. Handle
department productions report runs, tracking project schedule, producing and testing the output. Exercise
independent judgment and the discretionary decision making ability related to project management and
trouble-shooting. Perform tasks under the supervision of the department manager.
Required Skills:
The minimum requirements for this position include Bachelors degree in MIS, computer science or related field
and at least 3 to 5 years of progressive programming experience. Must display thorough knowledge of relational
databases and the SAS product suite including SAS Macro language. Experience with and understanding of Oracle
data structures is preferred. Must be comfortable working with large data sets. Must have strong organizational
and communication skills. Must work well under pressure, multi task, and meet deadlines. Must effectively
participate in cross departmental teams. Requires a valid drivers license and a reliable personal vehicle.
Clinical experience and or knowledge of the insurance business preferred.
